Praise to our God

Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds, kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, young men and young women, old men and children. Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!

Psalms 148:7‭-‬13 NLT

Today is the day God has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. The bible is filled with imagery describing all kinds of inanimate objects praising God. We are not rocks or animals. We are image bearers of the God who created us. How much more should we desire to declare His goodness and give honor to His name. To God be all glory, honor, and praise.

Colossians 116 says, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.
